Biography
Dr. Augusto Cury began his research project in clinical psychiatry as an atheist studying the human mind while developing his now world renowned “Multi-Focal Psychology” theory. In his study of the minds that had the greatest impact on humanity, he analyzed Jesus along with other historical figures such as Ghandi and Marx, ultimately coming to the realization that the psychological profile of Jesus was completely and perfectly aligned with his own Multi-Focal Psychology. To him, Jesus was so completely perfect in all his mental capacities that no one man or group of people could have created or fabricated such brilliance. It was at this point in his research that Dr. Cury came to faith in the divine Jesus of the Gospels.
Throughout the last twenty years, Cury and his family have attended non-denominational churches in his hometown of Campos in Brazil. He has written much about Jesus’ life and ministry from a psychological point of view.
